Distinguishing Characteristics
There was high diversity of organisms located on the dilution plates (shown in pictures). Colors ranged from white to yellow/orange to pink. Colony morphology also varied between each. Some were circular with raised elevation and an entire margin, while others were irregular and flat. It is also important to note that the sample site was located near water and around a walking trail (shown in pictures) this could impact the bacterial growth in that area.
